Kiwoom sprinkles on the chili powder once again.
The Kiwoom Heroes won 5-2 against the Lotte Giants in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on April 19.
On the mound, Kiwoom starter Ahn Woo-jin pitched six innings of four-hit ball, striking out three and walking two to earn his eighth win of the season, while closer Lim Chang-min pitched one inning of scoreless relief with one strikeout to preserve a three-run lead and earn his 20th save of the season, his first in six years since 2017 when he was in the NC.
At the plate, Kim Jun-wan, who came off the bench to pinch-hit, went 3-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI, while Kim Dong-heon’s solo shot in the sixth inning was a highlight. Kim hit his second home run of the season against Lee In-bok.
