Beat ‘Dukbae + Arnold’ → No reason to hate… No goal without a captain? “Manchester United MF, No. 1 to create opportunities.”

Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has created the most chances in the English Premier League (EPL).

The Showtime Reds, which has reported on Manchester United, released the list of players who have created the most chances in the Premier League in the last four seasons on Wednesday (Korea time). Bruno has topped the list three times from the 2020-2021 season to this season.

Bruno is one of Manchester United’s key midfielders. Bruno started playing football for Portugal FC Infesta in 2002. In 2004, he moved to Boavista FC and left on loan for ADR Pastelayra. After this he continued his career in Italian Serie A. 마카오토토

Bruno began to draw attention from big clubs after moving to Sporting CP in the 2017-2018 season. From the first season of his transfer, Bruno had 16 goals and 20 assists in 56 games. He ranked second in scoring the most in his team, and won the player of the year in the Portuguese Primera Liga.

Based on these performances, Bruno was called up to the Portugal national team and made the stage for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. In the 2018-2019 season, he set the club’s record for the most goals scored in a single season with 32 goals and 18 assists in 53 games, and broke the record for the most goals scored in a single season in a Portuguese midfielder.

In the 2019-2020 season, Bruno finally entered the big club through the winter transfer market. Manchester United paid 55 million euros (about 70 billion won) for Sporting. Since joining Manchester United, Bruno has become a new engine. He has won the Premier League Player of the Month award twice and has scored 12 goals and eight assists in 22 games.

The 2020-2021 season was the highlight. Bruno has won four trophies in a year with 28 goals and 18 assists in 58 games and two more Player of the Month awards. This is the first record in Premier League history. In the 2021-2022 season, Manchester United responded by renewing his contract with Bruno.

Even after Erik tenhach took office last season, he played a key role with 14 goals and 13 assists in 59 games, and is leading Manchester United’s attack this season as a captain. He has produced the most attack points in his team with three goals and three assists in the Premier League and two goals in the Champions League.

Despite Bruno’s performance this season, Manchester United has fallen into a slump. It ranks eighth in the league with 10 wins, 2 draws, 9 losses and 32 points in 21 matches in the Premier League. It was eliminated early in the UEFA Champions League and the Carabao Cup. The only tournament left with a chance to win is the FA Cup.

Bruno has been at the heart of Manchester United’s attack in recent years. He handles free and corner kicks with precision, and his passing abilities are undoubtedly among the best in the world. Among them, his ability to make chances stands out the most.

According to The Showtime Reds, Bruno topped his teammate Mason Mount (87 times) in the 2020-2021 season. He was ranked second by one point in the 2021-2022 season. Liverpool right-back Alexander Arnold took first place with 90.

Bruno has regained No. 1 ranking last season. Bruno has produced nine more chances than second-ranked Kieran Trippier of Newcastle United. He has created a whopping 119 chances. He is also tying with Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross for first place (55 times) this season.

In addition, Bruno is ranked at the top in the passes statistics with through passes per 90 minutes and penalty areas per 90 minutes for midfielder who is active in the English Premier League this season. Bruno also ranked fifth with 2.3 through passes per 90 minutes and first with penalty areas per 90 minutes this season.

Bruno is the only midfielder who can match the term “struggle.” Rival Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Breiner is awkward to use as a modifier because when he creates a chance, the striker leads to a goal. Bruno is Manchester United’s only hope.

Of course, he sometimes loses his mind in matches with rival teams, gets warned for his annoying play, or gets criticized by fans and legends. However, if you are a Manchester United fan, you cannot hate Bruno. For your information, he has rarely missed games with Manchester United due to injury.
