I’m Kim Hyun-soo with ‘More News’.
Daejeon Hana Citizen midfielder Bae Joon-ho has recently been in talks to join the European soccer team.
Born in 2003, Bae was selected to play for South Korea’s national team at the recent Under-20 World Cup.
In six games, he scored one goal and provided three assists, helping South Korea to back-to-back quarterfinal appearances.
In particular, his brilliant individual performance in the semifinals drew praise from the opposing team, Italy’s coach Nunziata, who said, “Bae Junho was particularly good, an outstanding player.”
I spoke directly with the Daejeon Hana Citizens officials this morning.
They confirmed that a number of European soccer teams have been inquiring about Bae Junho.
They informed me that they are negotiating with Stoke City FC of the English second division, which has been the most active among them.
In the past, Bae has also expressed his desire to play in Europe on several occasions.
[Bae Jun-ho/Daejeon Hana Citizen on June 19: “I also have a desire to play on a bigger stage… My ultimate goal is to play in the EPL, and my role model in Korea is Hwang In-Beom, but abroad, my role model is The Browner at Man City, so if I get the chance, I’d like to play with him.”]
Bae Jun-ho has also played a big role in K League Daejeon.
His debut goal came on March 22, at home against Daegu FC.
Kim Hyun-woo’s header from Joo Se-jong’s free kick led to Bae Jun-ho’s final header to score the winning goal.
In the home game against FC Seoul on the 13th of this month, he scored a left-footed shot in the 41st minute after a 2-on-1 pass with Yoo Kang-hyun.
In total, he has scored two goals in 16 appearances in the K League.
Daejeon Hana Citizen head coach Lee Min-sung also made comments about Bae Jun-ho’s future in Europe.
[Lee Min-sung/Daejeon Hana Citizen Head Coach/December 1: “I think (Bae Jun-ho’s) growth potential is infinite, so I think he’s not even halfway there yet, and if he gets more opportunities in the future, I think he’ll perform even better and go to a higher stage.”]
Which club is Stoke City FC in talks to sign Bae?
They currently play in the second division, but were once a member of the top flight, the English Premier League.
They were last relegated in 2018 and have been in the second division ever since.
But they’ve been around for a whopping 160 years.
It’s the second oldest and most storied professional soccer club in the world.
Some soccer experts believe that since Bae is a young player, it would be better for him to play more games in the second division than to go to a foreign first division and not get a chance to play.온라인카지노
However, if Bae Joon-ho is transferred, there will be a gap in the Daejeon Hana Citizens’ roster.
How do you think they should prepare for this?
