Lee Kang-in, 22, has been left out of the roster for Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) home match with Hwang Sun-hong Ho.
PSG have named a 20-man squad for the Ligue 1 fifth-round clash with Nice, which kicks off at the Parc des Princes in Paris, France, on Friday.
In addition to ace Kylian Mbappe, the likes of Ashraf Hakimi, Manuel Ugarte, Marquinhos and Kolo Moani are all set to start.
Notably absent from the squad is Lee Kang-In, who has returned to training after shaking off an injury.
Lee started the Ligue 1 second leg against Toulouse on March 20 before being replaced by Kylian Mbappe six minutes into the second half. He was then sidelined for nearly a month, including the A-League break, with a left quadriceps injury. It kept him out of Klinsmann’s two September A matches (Wales and Saudi Arabia).
After undergoing rehabilitation, he returned to team training on the 12th and looked set to feature against Nice, but Luis Enrique decided not to play him.
This was something that Hwang Sun-hong was aware of. “I heard that he won’t play against Nice. He has recovered from his injury, but it seems to be a fitness issue,” Hwang said.바카라
Meanwhile, the Korea Football Association announced today that “Lee Kang-in will join the Hangzhou Asian Games squad after PSG’s home match against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Sept. 19, the 14th local time in France.”
Based on the joining date alone, it is possible for him to play in the second group match against Thailand on the 21st, but considering his physical condition due to travel time, he is expected to play from the last group match (against Bahrain) on the 24th.
