Hajime Moriyasu’s men’s national team defeated Canada 4-1 in an A-match friendly at Denka Big Swan Stadium in Niigata, Japan, on Wednesday, extending the FIFA No. 19 team’s winning streak to five games.
In addition to the 6-0 victories over El Salvador and 4-1 win over Peru in June’s A matches, Japan also sank the ‘Chariots of Fire’ Germany (4-1) and Euro 2024 qualifying group leaders Turkiye (4-2).
