Munich signing Kim Min-jae-Kane caught ‘out-of-body bench two-shooting’ on day of disastrous defeat, fans mock ‘Kane effect’

A ‘two-shot’ video has emerged of Kim Min-jae and Harry Kane, who joined Bayern Munich side-by-side this summer, watching their team go down in shocking fashion from the bench.

Kim and Kane were benched side-by-side for the 2023 DFL Super Cup against Leipzig at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on Wednesday (Aug. 13).

Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel apparently planned to keep his two key resources on the bench for now and bring them on in the second half.

Minjae and Kane, who must have felt comfortable and “intuited” the game, thinking, “No way Munich will go down easily,” watched as their team conceded in the first three minutes.

The two shots of Kim and Kane were taken around the fifth minute of the first half, after the early goal. The pair looked bewildered and quickly scanned the field with their eyes.

Munich’s worst fears were realized in the 44th minute when Olmo scored to make it 0-2 at halftime.

Tuchel made a change at halftime, bringing on Kim Min-Jae, Kingsley Coman, and Nusair Mazrouei at the same time. He even brought on Kane in the 19th minute of the second half.

But the gap, once opened, showed no signs of closing. In the 23rd minute, Olmo completed his hat trick from the penalty spot.

Kim Min-jae did his part in the 45th minute, chasing down Cesco with a burst of speed in the 24th minute after the goal and making a good tackle to prevent a fourth, but the team remained scoreless and lost 0-3.

Fans mocked the “Kane effect” after he failed to lift a trophy in more than a decade with Tottenham, with some saying he looked like he regretted his move after just one day.

Munich signed Kim Min-jae, who has been a revelation at Napoli, and Kane, one of the top strikers in the English Premier League and an England international captain, to help them reach the top of the Bundesliga and Champions League.온라인바카라

Even considering that the Super Cup is a “warm-up” for the main season, the 0-3 scoreline is shocking. Tuchel’s side almost lost the title at the end of last season as well, losing 1-0 to Leipzig.

Munich travel to Werder Bremen for their Bundesliga opener on Sept. 19 amidst the chaos.
